Hello, My name is Patrick Portelli and I am the current president of Serra St Catharines. Thank you for your interest in our group

I would like to invite you as my guest to a meeting. We typically meet on the second Tuesday of the month at St. Julia’s parish in St. Catharines. We start with a Mass at 6:00pm followed by a small meal and fellowship. The meeting starts at 6:45pm and we are usually done by 8:00pm. In our meeting we hear updates from our spiritual directors on the status of our seminarians, diaconate candidates and our brother and sisters in formation. We discuss ways to help them spiritually and financially through our works. The time commitment is small, most business is completed at the meeting and we usually run two events a year.

You will find that many of us are also in K of C, CWL and other lay organizations but I think I speak for everyone of us that praying, fostering and supporting vocations is a top priority. We need Priests, Deacons and Religious Brothers and Sisters to keep our church alive. We all feel that we make a difference in our diocese.
